Where We Travel
We're based at 6101 Watauga Rd, and most of our calls stay close to home. is a mile west of us two miles west four miles northwest, and the about five miles north-northwest - we're in and out of those neighborhoods as often as we're on our own street. Past that ring we cover Richland Hills (4 mi), Saginaw (7 mi), Haslet and Westlake (8 mi), Trophy Club and Sansom Park and Roanoke (10 mi), River Oaks and Lake Worth (11 mi), and on out through Westworth Village, Westover Hills, Lakeside, Northlake, Forest Hill, White Settlement, Pecan Acres, Justin, Double Oak, Edgecliff Village, Kennedale, Bartonville, Argyle, Newark, Everman, Lantana, Copper Canyon, Highland Village, Reno, New Fairview, and Aurora. That's roughly 30 named areas, and the service area holds about 68,975 households, 45,309 of them owner-occupied houses. We don't claim to have worked every block in that list - but it's the territory we run, and we know what the houses in it look.
The Work We Take On
Housing in this part of Tarrant and Denton County mostly went up between 1953 and 2014, with the heaviest build-out in the 1980s and 90s. That means a lot of the doors we see are original or close to it - steel sectional panels on extension or torsion springs that have outlived their rated cycles, openers from a generation before today's safety-sensor standards, and tracks that have shifted a little after twenty or thirty years of settling. We work on broken springs, cables off the drum, bent tracks, openers that won't respond, rollers worn down to the bearing, and full door replacement when a panel's too far gone to patch. The climate here runs on the moderate side of the heat band, so we're not dealing with the kind of wild seasonal swings that snap springs overnight - but years of daily cycling still wear the same parts down, just slower. One honest limit: if a door's steel has rusted through at the bottom panel or the frame's out of square from a settling slab, replacement is usually the better call than another repair, and we'll tell you that instead of billing for a patch that won't hold.
